Patch for FSX please becouse it is ridicolous how much of a perfomance impact the large amount of houses and fooliage makes when comparing to games like Wings of Prey that runs silky smooth 60fps on moderate hardware with far more terrain objects than FSX better visuals.

Even if MS was a huge supporter of PC games today I doubt a game that old would get a performance patch.

Blizzard and Valve are the only things that Microsoft have going for them and quite frankly, I'm surprised to see that they haven't bought them out (or at least tried to).

I can only assume that GFWL was supposed to be M$'s answer to steam but failed miserably and is at this point just a thorn in the side of PC gamers who get MS games.

I wonder how much of MS's gaming revenue comes from Steam and WOW?

They didn't "butcher" anything. It's a 5 year old game engine. It looks just as good, if not better than it did back at E3 08 when they were showing it off using the havok physics and quad core CPU processing.

Somehow I don't think it was running at 960x540 in those E3 demos.
