Well considering how much they make total and how much WoW makes them it isn't hard to see. MW2 still makes them a huge amount of money (about half a billion) but when they make multi-billion dollars a year... that's not a significant chunk.

Several PC sites are drooling over this news today, but a PC platform with only MMOs is the same as a dead PC platform to me, and this is all MMO based, so who cares.
The Microsoft and Bioware quotes about PC gaming are much more interesting.

ahh, the northern hemisphere summer. The slow season for PC gaming. When everyone turns their attention to b1tching about the state of the industry. Fact is, there have never ever been the number of quality games coming out on PC as there are these days.

Yeah, this isn't good news at all. WoW accounts for much of that money and is an anomaly, no other MMO comes even close the subscription numbers as WoW does.
