This is exactly why I don't buy new games at full price anymore but wait instead. I'd add Mass Effect 2 to that list. Outstanding, deep games are rare to me, probably cause I'm jaded.

Translated the conclusion for you:

If you like actiongames you should definatly give Singularity a chance.Same if youve lost faith in the genre and want to see something fresh. It's rare to have action, adventure, puzzles and story blend together and form such a convincing whole.Singularity will stand against the test of time, far better than the poor russians i encounter on Katorga-12

Flexibility and an open mind ,excuse me for saying it nekro but i often think you have far too little of each.

I got my copy yesterday from the UK

I like it more then Wolfenstein the Time age thing is prety cool it has some low rpg elements like upgrade weapons but this was in Quake 4 and wolfenstein too

I dont play it right now because it has a awfull texture streaming bug gras looks like **** but if you stand near it for 1 minute it becomes normal :-/ its with all textures -ground -walls. By the way the game only got 6 grafik option settings ..... where you can set a mark in

Hope there is a patch comming soon

Sounds like the normal UE3 engine issues with layered textures loading late,i've seen that in every game that uses UE3.

to me the UE3 engine looks so very dated now, textures look so low res and objects look like huge bump maps

Ugh, it seem to be the same texture streaming problem like in Wolverine. It worked wonders with the tweaked settings in the config file. You sure there isnīt a config file in the singularity map? For Wolverine it wasnīt located in the installation folder, i was here:

C:\Users\YWAP\Documents\Wolverine\WGame\Config\WEn gine.ini

Edit: Seem to be no config file alright. That really sucks, hope thatīll change with a future patch.
