The only series to impress me on UE3 have been Bioshock, Mass Effect and Mirror's Edge, none of which were Epic or 360 exclusive, which I find amusing.

it's not like those hunched-over dudes are sitting there thinking "this is fantastic, if only I wasn't so hunched. I love playing counter strike source but this hunching is just really too much."

They don't give a crap what their posture is like because they are engrossed in a game and they are trying to get their eyeballs as close to the action as possible.

In summary, hunching is not a down side, it's a symptom of being engrossed in a game.

I never, ever hunch. I have no idea why one would choose to do so, but it has nothing to do with PC gaming versus console gaming.

Perhaps hunching over like a gargoyle is an exaggeration, but the very fact you need a flat surface to use a mouse/keyboard on precludes the fact that for 99% of PC setups you'll be sitting at least upright with your face close to the display.

Leaning back on your couch with a controller is indeed a different experience. Can't always do that either, which is why I like the choice of control styles the PC gives you.

Every office chair in existence reclines though... the whole point of an office chair is to keep your back straight but also let you lean back. If you are leaning forward toward the monitor to game I assume you just like that position, in which case you probably lean forward on the couch as well.

I said sitting up straight, not leaning forward. Your arguing with a different poster I assume yet replying to me.

Regardless, slightly leaning back in an office chair is hardly comparable to playing on the couch with your feet up 10ft from the TV. They are in different stratosphere's of being "relaxed".

I sit in an office chair all day. I don't want to sit in one when I come at home. There's a reason they've called office chairs - no rational individual would buy one to truly relax and watch a movie in one.

Well, people are different. My chair is as nice as a couch to me and I often choose to watch things on my PC because I am comfy there. I also like how large the screen feels at my PC desk, my TV feels much smaller even though it is 48".

I don't work in an office though, that could be a difference.
