I want to note that signal loss when holding hands at certain place on iPhone 4, it's common for other smartphones as well. If you hold your phone tightly you'll notice signal drops. It doesn't affect to all phones though.

Do other phone makers blame the users for the issue?

I don't think so.

Really douchey move by Apple to blame us, the consumers, for THEIR issue.

I have never had a phone drop signal because of how I held it. Stop being such petty little pricks Apple. You made a nice phone but as usually your business practices suck and that is the reason why I had your company and won't buy your products.

I just came back from a party for a friend of mine and EVERYONE wanted to play around with the phone.

It really is a talking point and I can't wait for the Bumper to get here because I am afraid of someone dropping it.

The weirdest thing is all the people with Evo's (and I know a lot of people with one) who are just amazed at the pixel density and smoothness of the OS on the ip4.

Still, we all agree that the lack of widgets is a massive drawback and a few other things (like lack of HD Youtube) is pathetic.

I am interested to see how the bumper does on this phone. I like the aluminium sides and will not be happy with covering it up, but a better grip is definitely something to look forward to and since the sides are slightly raised up, when sitting the phone down, the glass will no longer be in contact with surfaces.

I wasn't even trying to defend Apple in any way but saying this issue is common for other phones.

Funny you posted a link, people like to blame Apple for showing them how to hold iPhone 4 wrong. People can be ridiculous sometimes.

I got the bumper yesterday, its a nice fit and gives a good grip, hard to slide from your hand or when placed on a table. Also fixes the "holding it wrong" issue

No, I posted a link which shows Apple telling USERS that they are holding it wrong, when their OWN ads show their models holding the phone the exact same way.

Apple is telling us that we are holding it wrong, which is just pathetic.
