I don't need exact 8800GTX SLi performance- just there about. If it's give or take a mere hand full of frames per second I really wont care.

Both the 5850 and GTX460 (1GB) seem to offer this. And the GTX460 seems to be considerably cheaper. However, it does tend to run ever so slightly hotter, and consume more power especially while under load. Though both cards are really close and the GTX460 is considerably cheaper.

So torn.

I was going to get the Palit 460 and for $50 more, I got the 470.

A lot of reviews I've read on the 470's indicate near 480 performance when overclocked.

Does that card come with SF4 and RE5? I just see the free Just Cause 2 coupon attached to it. It would be pretty absurd to come with that SF4 decal on the card and RE5 all over the box if neither game actually ships with that card.

Enthusiast (GTX 465-480, 5830-5970)

... right? And then adding SLI/Crossfire to the mix mixes everything up further.

.. because of the GTX 460's performance vs GTX 465, IMO it pokes its head into the enthusiast category while remaining in the Performance price range.

Im going to be out of town between the 21st-2nd so I dont know if theyll go down in price or just be sold out everywhere... might be worth preordering and have it waiting for me at home.
