Intel 80 gig in the new rig here. Win 7 loads in 10 seconds, and shuts down in about 5! I'm NEVER going back to a regular hd as my primary again.

welcome to the SSD club. im on a OCZ Agility 2 120gb. never go back. btw how does a SSD stand up to sleep mode everyday? anything bad i should know

Damn that's a pretty large gap in 512/1KB/etc performance between a single drive and RAID. Are there any caveats other than not having TRIM support in RAID?

Not a problem for people like us that do their research. I'm not sure non-enthusiasts would even know they exist or be able to tell a difference.
