Nope, doesn't work at all. Apparently it's really difficult to implement so it's been pushed right down on the list.

Interesting, I think I missed that one.
I hope they get the fbdev driver done anytime soon. That's for me the main feature that the driver is lacking currently.

Well, we know that NVIDIA drivers are never going to be embedded into the kernel (because they violate the GPL), but why would you think a kernel module would not work?

shrug,
KMS is so messed up, so buggy, that before devs fix this, there is no point/use for KMS. I am only glad that I have only one netbook with intel(KMS) and the rest is with "old fashioned" nvidia without KMS.
