How do I know if my SSDs are operating as they should? I've disabled the pagefile, I've disabled System Restore, still need to disable indexing, prefetching, and superfetch, as well as ReadyBoost.
But what's all this about TRIM and such? I was just gonna' leave it be but if it slows down noticeably then that's not an option. ![]() |

![]() Even that was too much work. Can you somehow provide a fancy link that'll do all the configuration work for me? ![]() |

slaWter I was thinking of getting this SSD
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820220509 or this SSD. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820148360 I got my OS now on the two 300gig raptors on the marvell 6 Sata, If I put this on the ICH10 controller and reformat my raid 0 just for games, How will this workout? Have to set the ICH10 controller to AHCI right? then install Win 7 on the SSD? Will trim be all setup native in win 7, Or do I have to do something?. Thanks for your time.

Just bought one of these puppies. I have heard it is best to disable the defrag, indexing, system restore. Is this the best thing to do for Windows 7.

I always thought that Trim was enabled automatically in Windows 7.
