Since you don't test on another distro you sure say it's nVidias' fault, "yeah 'cause they blob is close-source hence is the root of all evil and Mandriva is puurrrfect". The only fact is that the Mandriva version of X 1.7.7 has this issue while... oh, well, while nothing, since you don't want to test, 'cause it's easier just to wait for a dev to test your distro than to test yourself another distro.
