470 no surround sound?

When I put my 8800GTX in I have all 5 speakers working if my 470 is in only 3. Any clues?

What are you trying to say, put the card where, what type of audio, speaker configuration etc...

Try disabling the HD Audio that installs with the card.

So that would be in the nvidia control panel I guess. I will check it out thanks.
