Default 1.0-4496 on mdk9.1 Riva TNT32 unsuccessful install

Since the previous thread (Official NVIDIA Linux installer feedback) is quit full, I open a new one on the same subject...
The install of the driver was ok. The modif of XF86Config-4 also. But after the reboot of the machine, then... text mode after few blinks.
XF86Config-4 and log are in the attached zip file.
nv works fine but w/o glx, I don't know why (I am newby to Linux).
Thanks for help.

You have no 32 bit "Display" section defined for it to default to. In addition, this will not work anyway as X will only do 24 bit. Change this default 32 to 24 and you should be ok.

Why it works for 'nv' with that setting I don't know, but hoping that its a simple fix for you. Try that and report, good luck.
