Hey guys I was wondering if anyone knows if I could use a standard wireless adapter for my parents Directv HD DVR for On Demand shows. I know the Linksys WGA600N is supposed to be compatible but I'm looking for something in the $30 range. Any ideas?

I actually wouldn't mind having one myself. Right now I just use a long ethernet chord across the floor when I feel like plugging it in.

I would ask over at www.broadbandreports.com . There are some hardcore geeks in there about this stuff, and also employees of broadband (and TV) companies tend to post as well...I'm not sure how active the DTV forums are, since I'm on Fios, but I'm sure someone there can help...Or maybe AVSForums...

www.dbstalk.com is a great place for satellite tv questions too. Especially Directv.
