Anyone actually use one of these things before? I find the technology itself fascinating, and they have been out for a while, but I'm really curious about real-world performance.

I have Installed several sets of these , but of a different brand
They work like a charm, for difficult spots.

yeah, I have 3 in my house from Netgear. It usually works, but performance often fluctuates.

I noticed the more of these things you have in your house the worse performance gets.

it works better with 2 then with 3.

that would be because you are basicly using a hub instead of a switch. You get packet colisions.
