Thatīll serve you well in this game developed for systems with 0.256Gb RAM, or 0.512Gb shared pool for CPU/GPU.

Biggest difference from the previous games is that itīs primarily developed on systems that has either a shared pool of 512mb on the 360 and 256mb XDR for CPU and 256 GDDR for GPU on the PS3.

So it will PROBABLY use less RAM then Crysis or Warhead.
Unless they relax things a lot on PC and actually take advantage of the much larger memory sets we have.

I'm hoping this is developed much like Metro was- PC first and consoles secondary. If I have 16GB of RAM and 8 cores, I want the entire rig stressed when I'm playing the game... and for good reason to- not just crap coding.

From the German preview it sounds like it most certainly was. They said the console version blew and looked nothing like the trailers/screenshots that Crytek was putting out. Then they played the PC version only running DX9 but unning at a solid 60 fps with vsync on and it was like day and night how much better the PC version looked.

But still I bet it will stress out the graphics more than any other component unless you make some crazy custom physics map. I also hope they make a 64-bit executable that doesn't make the game run like crap... but I'm not getting my hopes up there.
