Default AVI chop/cut into clip....

I'm looking for a program that i could use to take a large .avi file and break it down into clips. Its around 5GB.

Vdub will probably do that sort of stuff, only used it briefly.

+1 VirtualDub

VirtualDub can easily do that, and compress the video using whatever codec you have installed; or keep them uncompressed

VirtualDub is great but lately I prefer the Avidemux more cause it supports more containers and codecs. http://www.avidemux.org
