netflix doesn't even do 1080i anyway, even with lower bitrate, 2-4 movies (depending on lenght) and you are over limit.

and I can bet when you do go over limit there is no warning, you will just get thicker bill

They say that they warn you and you have the "nice" option of paying for extra data before you run over/they bill you. However, I doubt they always do this lol. They don't care.

Free text message is sent your phone when you're near the limit.

So with the unlimited data you have, you have to pay if you go over a certain limit? But it's called unlimited right?

With T-Mobile the data is unlimited but after 5gb or 10gb (I don't remember which) they throttle your speed down. You still have access but at Edge speeds.

I think their HD TV shows are 1080i.

I know most of their movies are not HD.

No. I have unlimited but I was saying for other people who signed up after the new plans went into effect have limited and when they reach their limit or get close they get a text. I have unlimited but like you, I get throttled after about 8GBs or so.

Yea it's slow, but it's better than having to pay extra for access when I hit a low limit.
