I can't stand how Intel changes sockets every 6 months.

QFT.

I am going AMD next time around. They already said their next CPU's will be AM3.

Also, now their chips have GPU's on them? And only some of the motherboards will support them? What kind of **** is this?

Oh and 1366 is being phased out.

Original Nehalem and Gulftown owners have their own socket replacement to look forward to. In the second half of 2011 Intel will replace LGA-1366 with LGA-2011. LGA-2011 adds support for four DDR3 memory channels and the first 6+ core Sandy Bridge processors.

And? AM3 was launched about 3-4 months after LGA 1366, and there are no signs of phasing that out.
