Ya the 768MB is about 160-170 and the 1GB is about 199 to 239.

Ya, the 460, for once, are on an amazing price scale. Usually they are higher for that type of card but the price/performance can't be beat.

Yeah... I considered that- except I can easily fill the 4GB of RAM I currently have. Adding 2 more GB should allow me to disable the PF all together.

And the 5770 should offer the performance I need. After MIR this card would have only cost me $129.99. Pretty hard to beat that price.

However, if I'm not pleased with the 5770, I would either return it to newegg for a refund or sell it. Probably sell it as I think newegg dings you a re-stocking fee. Don't wanna pay that so I'd just sell it and then purchase the GTX460... probably the 1GB model.

And I'm set on e-VGA and those were all $200+. I saved $70 by getting the 5770.

All around this should be a nice setup for me. Probably wont be an upgrade in overall GPU performance (dual 8800GTXs vs single 5770), but the added 2GB RAM and beefy CPU cooler should make for an over all well-balanced rig. Or so I'm hoping.
