Sorry but I still don't see this being more then a party thing, I can't see any decent games come from this.

For adults that is pretty much the usage that my Wii gets, though my son does play many other games on it. And ultimately, the audience that MS is going for is more of your GF and children than you and I.

That's kind of true. If you think about it, anyone who already has a 360 will be a lot more likely to buy this and let it collect dust than buying another system.
