I have a hard time wanting to pay $250 for "3D glasses meant for LCD's" , when I litterally paid $29 for "3D glasses meant for CRT's" 7 years ago. They still work great, but again they only work for CRT, which I don't use anymore.

This is dirt old technology that they are way way way overcharging for.
I am of the exact same mind. However I can wait no longer, I am all too aware of how wicked awesome it is. I'll be picking up a set next week. It's down to $179.99 at my local MicroCenter. I really miss stereoscopic gaming, I can't wait to play some newer games in 3D.

BTW, how the EFF do you turn the glasses off? Any manual way to do it, or is it just a "wait a certain amount of time" type of thing?

Damn, stupid HDMI. Why can't TV's have at least one displayport or something?

After a period of inactivity the left lense will flash several times then the glasses with switch off. They have 40 odd hours on one charge i think so i don't worry about it too much!

What a bunch of noobs!!
I remember back in the previous millenium (1999) when I bought my ELSA Revelator 3D glasses and played games with Voodoo 3 card!I remember playing Star Trek Elite Force and kicking Borg ass! Great times and great 3d on CRTs.
Wake me up when I can play 3D on a decent TFT screen and not some crappy TN monitor!

Anyways enjoy Mr. Hunt!

They should at least come with a Dual Link DVI. That is all that is needed.

Yep I miss those days. I'll be using my 22" CRT, spec shows any CRT that can do 100Hz will work with the system, Red/Blue even works at 85Hz.
