Yup, it makes calls, sends txt, takes pics/vid, plays music and does emails but what are some of the other things you most often use your smartphone for?
Or.... Alternatively, what does your phone NOT do that you wish it could? .

Bluetooth audio in my car. I'd watch some movies on it if there was a time and a place for it; thus far I've only watched an epsiode of Lost on it, and the beautiful 800x480 resolution plus Bluetooth headphones gave me a dang good viewing experience.
I've been a homebody a LOT lately.... I think when I finally start getting out more over the next few months I'll end up using a lot of other features on my phone, such as Slacker radio, Bing turn-by-turn navigation, and maybe a Wordpress app.

All I use my phone for is phone calls (obviously), Google Maps (when I'm lost in Boston), and SelectRadio, which I use to stream Sirius on my 15 min walk to my office.
SelectRadio is not free ($25), but it's easily one of the best streaming apps I have ever used. It connects to online radio stations as well as internet radio services such as Sirius and XM. I love it. Currently there aren't any good Droid apps for Sirius. There is a free one, but they restrict some of the content. I have Pocket Tunes on my iPod Touch (another fantastic app). Since my next phone will probably be a Droid, I really hope someone will develop one. Then again, I may get an iPhone (LTE) if it launches on Verizon in the spring. Would be an easy transition since I already have tons of apps for my iPod Touch. I wish my phone was more powerful. It's very underpowered and very slow. Also, it's not 3G, and it's Windows Mobile 6.1. I really need a new phone. ![]() |

It's pretty sweet. What would I wish it did? Wish it was a more open OS, wish Apple would fix all that is still broken on the phone. Wish I had flash. Wish I had access to many of Google's applications that are on Froyo ![]() |

I mainly bought mine for GPS use while riding the motorcycle around back roads and places I've never been. Wish it worked a little better in that regard but a fix is supposedly coming soon.

Indeed. Voice to text is a huge feature, sadly it's not very accurate when it comes to non-common words.

What I use the most...Use the internet. It's awesome when you forget something and just google it.
Best feature...Hands down, without a doubt, I absolutely LOVE the navigation on it, it is faster and more accurate than my mom's Tom Tom. With a sexier voice too. What could be improved...multitasking, like talking on phone and using internet, and longer battery life. But a 4.3" screen will drain it.

golf gps! paid a whopping $15 for an app called free caddie. it give course layouts, yardage as well as keeping your scores and stats (driving distances, etc). since i golf on ave around 2 times per week. it beats spending ~$300 for something similar

Don't most golf-courses already have these things built into the golf carts, for free?
