Default 2 video cards from 2 different vendors

has anyone documentation (links) or experience of using 2 videocards from 2 different vendors in one machine? namely an integrated intel, and a nvidia. Using both simultaneously (ie no switching), say to each one monitor connected [i am not interested in display issues, just in driver issues and if such a setup works "out of the box" or requires more complex setup of the drivers].

further, I am interested in using 1 intel and 2 or 3 nvidia cards (potentially SLI) all at once.

for my nvidia-only system I am using the prepackaged opensuse RPM driver ftp://download.nvidia.com/opensuse
