That's close to here. The RRP is around 3000, but you could easily get it for 2500. It's annoying as 1AUD pretty much equals 1USD these days.

I just picked up a 50" Samsung 7000. The TV itself is outstanding. Colors and blacks are much better than my other Samsung 550. The 3D so far is kind of ho hum, but my only examples come from Directv's one 3D preview channel.
*update* Just looked at some 3D movie previews streamed online through the TV and it looked far superior to what Directv was showing.
