Default has anyone had metro 2033 delete your save games

With driver 1.36 3d vision full cd (260.63), I have had to restart metro 2033 a few times in game due to freezes. After one time of restarting, the load and continue buttons in the game were gone, the tv and the load picture were there but no option to do so. When I went to check the save game directory, everything was gone. So, I just uninstalled the game out of frustration only to have my friend tell me that system restore would restore deleted files that weren't recycled yet. Is this true? Anyhow, by the time he had told me, I had already deleted the save game directory. So, has anyone else had the game delete your save games in between loading of the game after a freeze up?

No - I've had a couple of software related bsods recently, one in game freeze on Metro, but all saves were fine.

Just started playing the game. Haven't had any issues. But again, have played it maybe an hour or two.

I played it half way through the game (I know because I was some of the video walkthrough from gameanyone.com) and when it happened I didn't feel like playing again. Awesome game too in 3d vision and 3d vision surround.
