Nvidia card for Ubuntu 10.4

I need a Quad display graphics card which will work with Ubuntu 10.4.
Resolution 1440x900 .
i have been using the Quadro NVS450 but however this has been giving me bootup issues and the PC just doesnt start up.
Also due to this video card the RS422 drivers dont get loaded. There are multiple issues with using this card. Is there a better option available? I have heard that Nvidia is going to stop production of this card soon so is there any replacement that can be used.
