Okay... so I'm in chapter 7 I think... but cannot figure out how to accomplish my objectives.

There's this giant meteor with these arms that swing around it... sort of. I think I have to jump onto the meteor and deposit this canister between the arms "rotation". Has to be done rediculously fast though as everytime I try the arms come along and smash me to bits. I've tried the stasis thing to slow them down and it has no effect. I've blown up the two machines (one on the floor one on the ceiling) that appear to have some kind of "tractor beam" on the meteor... nothing helpful happened.

I'm not sure how to complete this part. I guess that, maybe when the arms are about to his me I use the stasis thing? But it seems like stasis in general has no effect on them.

So... any suggestions? Likely it's something rediculously obvious and I'm just over looking it. Any help would be greatly appreciated though.

Yep

I'm at that part now too. Just walk to where the arms 'hinge' and when they pass, jump. I died a lot figuring that simple maneuver out the first time

nvm... figured it out.

EDIT! Thanks for the help. I accidentally jumped out into space once, and fortunately saw the other two machines out there... kinda' figured what to do after that.

Thanks again, though.

The way to beat that level is to jump onto the asteroid and select Isaac's secret dance move, which is CTRL + G + H + J + L+ Y + * + Enter + F5 + Insert + ) You'll notice that is more than 10 keys, so you gotta ask a a stranger off the street to hold some of the keys down for you. If the stranger doesn't murder you, then the game unlocks the next level.
