I don't know if this is the right place to continue this discussion, but it seems the situation with Xbox 360 hacking is getting interesting now.
New games with AP 2.5 check are now almost unplayable on hacked consoles. Assassin's Creed Brotherhood has been leaked, but the trick with playing on old dashboard is not working. The game forces you to update and as soon as you do that, the console gives you an error and also flags you for a ban. The only way to play these games is having really old X360 with old drives, that don't support the AP 2.5 check. We'll see, if they can come up with new firmware or not. Otherwise people can forget about playing new games on their hacked X360. MS might have hit the jackpot with this. Btw. the AP check has been in the console for a while, but hasn't been used until now. Wonder what that is about. |
