There were TV ads in NA and Japan apparently.

I don't think they wanted to hype it more than necessary because of the constant delays the game had.

They seem to have re-used tracks from GT4 with touch ups/made them low quality for perhaps perfomance reasons. Seems to be more than one track to.

TBH as much as I like good visuals, first the game has to 'feel right' Won't get to play it till Friday, but I hope that they have got the feel right.

Indeed. The game I'm sure is enjoyable but there are way to many disparities or inconsistencies with it for it to score perfect.

if im honest I didnt even notice low texture visuals while playing. everything runs so smooth and it looked fine while racing.

Ive already put 11 hours in my game. Im about to put in many more. having allot of fun playing.
