My wife and I have had iphone 3g's for a few years now.. never had a need for copy/paste. Then again due to the lack of a hardware encryptor/decryptor I can't check my work email with it, so that might make a difference.
I'm planning on ditching my 3g mid contract and getting a windows 7 phone when they come out, tired of my phone getting slower with every update even though it doesn't add any features for the 3g. Also I'd like to be able to develop apps for the phone without having to buy a mac. Magus, tell us how it goes. I'd love to hear about impressions of the phones. |

I'm hoping that AT&T get HTC HD7... that device looks nice. That's one I'm hoping to get by end of this month.

I'm surprised no one has gotten one or mention any more about WP7 since it launched. I just got a WP7, Samsung Focus and man, I'm loving it. Super AMOLED is amazing! It's fast and sleek. I can finally dump my ancient first gen iPhone.
![]() I'm still playing with it, so far I'm very impressed. I'm excited to see what future updates will bring.

Yep the super AMOLED display on my Samsung Vibrant phone rocks. I love the Android OS but I wish I would have waited until the Win 7 phone came out to compare it with.

I still have faith in Android in general, it's already got such a hardcore group of developers. That isn't to say at all that WP7 will rock.... with the Zune app acting like iTunes it'll have a much easier user experience for basic users, and I really think that's where it'll rock android. That and the fact that the development is going to take off since the dev tools are free and very well integrated with Visio. I can't wait to get a chance to try and write some code for Android and then WP7.... I've already had some (minor) experience with an iPad and their IDE and I have to say I absolutely hate it

Walked into a Windows store yesterday.
What a ****ing waste of space. Spent a decent amount of time with the W7 Phone, though. It's not bad at all. Not good either, though. Overall, wasn't impressed. |

I haven't had the time to look at one yet. Care to elaborate a little more?

First off, it feels solid, at least the phone I had. (It's on multiple models, right?) Not too light and heavy enough to feel durable, etc. From what I saw and messed around with, their is no option to have multiple pages. Just one LONG scrolling main page. Dumb. This phone barely had anything on it and it took forever to scroll through the crap. The graphics are nice though, and everything looks nice. Email inbox failed to open when I clicked on it. Gave me an error. Again, I asked the guy and he said, "ya, were having issues" Uh.... ok. Overall, it has a few kinks, not bad by any means, but certainly won't be getting it. |
