For some reason games are randomly minimizing, even when using a 360 controller so it's nothing to do with the keyboard. I've tried re-reinstalling the driver but it's still doing it.
Have any GTX580 users noticed this? to say it's annoying is an understatement. ![]() Also unrelated F1 2010 is crashing with new DX11 patch. |

Nope, nothing bad here, did you update to the most recent drivers? 263.09?

I'm not reinstalling windows, if putting my HD5870 back in solves this then the cards going back but I don't want to give up on it quite yet. Any other suggestions? |

I've experienced the complete opposite. I lose focus with my 5870 all the time, but never with my GTX580. I'd suggest cleaning out drivers + nvidia clean install

Look in the minimized icons near the start button, I've seen this when something stupid like a Java update tries to remind me. (but with any card, not 580 specific)

Do they crash if you run them windowed?
Mine (old 4870) did this with certain games and reinstalling directx fixed it. I've also seen threads (@tech hq iirc) about a users PSU not being up to snuff for his card, but instead of crashing, the games minimized.... Just banging out ideas for ya...that would drive me batty pretty quickly ![]() |

Using Zalman 850W PSU which should be more than enough, was using HD5870 Crossfire before this so I don't think the PSU is the issue. |
