Seriously? My character?...cry me a river.

Since when is rebutting someone else's post adding fuel to the fire? If you don't want to debate things, quit posting.

Lay the thread to rest for all I care, it should have been deleted the minute it was put up as it is obviously meant to incite flames, but don't post opinions and then get all butthurt when someone else posts something contradictory.

Either close the thread or accept the fact that people are going to have a heated debate about it, don't come in eight pages later and pretend you care about arguing.

That's almost a riddle: "To serve you better we quit!"
IZ3D is not out of business, they are doing fine, they are no longer going the hardware route with a 3d monitor. The number of 3d capable devices which IZ3D drivers can use are growing in leaps and bounds. Still Nvidia on the gaming side I think have a clear advantage for 3d computer monitors for 3d Vision, while really not that many over all for selection they are still available.

IZ3D is not part of AMD, 3rd party that also supports Nvidia as well. Anyways if one wants to 3d game with AMD they can, be it on a 3d DLP or a number of 3d HDTVs you can do it is the point. Also if Viewsonic ever releases their new 3d monitor and glasses to the rest of the world then more will have that option as well.

Hmmm.

I notice on their webpage they don't support Crossfire or SLi, and on the output compatibility not much listed at all.

?

This seems like a very limited solution compared to the NVIDIA 3D ecosystem.

Ive got a 480. Clocks in sig are a bit low because I got the core to 840. Every game I play at 1080p with at least 4xaa runs great. Most of the games I play are pegged at 60fps with everything max. Every thing I am currently playing runs great. I cant imagine that I would even notice a difference going to a 580.

Its not much faster and I have no noise issues here with an EVGA OC edition. Funny thing is that I have been playing Pac Man CE DX on the 360 non stop. I dont know how they did it but they reinvented the wheel. That game is awesome period. Perfect scores on most sites and its only 2d. There are some graphic enhancements as you can chose quite a few different graphic styles that was used over the years in various pac man games. No need. I play the old style graphics and LOVE IT. Anyone with a Ps3 or a 360 needs to check this game out !! Its $10.00

I has no need for polys and shaders if 2d game play can be as fun as this new Pac man game. Bring back 2d gaming !!!! (or 2.5d) heh.

I do not think I have had a game get my heart racing like this one does since UT99. I mean, when it gets fast and you are trying to plan ahead to maximize your ghost trains (for the non.. you can have a train of up to 30 ghost following you) and the speed is at 50..

Oh man.. I mean I have jumped up off the couch in excitement over beating my highscore !! I am ranked 641 out of 21,000 or so on one of the mazes and have an S rank..

How long has it been since any of you reading have played a game just to beat a score in fact a game that had a score (in the old school sense) at all ?

Oh, and the 480 is good... not trying to mess with the topic..

Supports any new 3d HDTV set, 120hz shutter glasses etc. Supports 3d DLP projectors. There are a few monitors it supports. Any of the 3d vision monitors are not supported due to how Nvidia restriced the monitor manufacturer license and tech, proprietary.

List of games compatible is also listed on their site which is not all inclusive either.

Really getting off topic but for those interested can look at the IZ3D site and community forums to get some answers to the given 3d solution. DX 10 is now supported and DX11 is forth coming even though DX11 works in some titles with IZ3d with the newest drivers.

3d Vision is indeed more mature but at a cost too.

Go figure. I have a GTX580, a GTX5XX (unreleased high end card), and various other cards, and I still run GTX480SLi in my main computer.

Must not have seen the memo I guess. Last I checked my 480s were owning any other two GPUs except two 580s.
