EDIT: Oh yeah, read the sig baby! So far so good on running games, GTA IV, BFBC2 (Maxed out save AA, had to run Medium to get good FPS @ 19x12 res on 285gtx) WOW the temps are amazing!!!! I don't see anything above 70c at ALL, this is a nice card, look forward to COD:BO soon!

Just got my EVGA 580 GTX. I'm sure my CPU is holding it back but I'm still happy with it. I moved the 280GTX to another slot since it's winter time and hey, I can use the extra heat :-)
Now, if I really want heat, I guess I could build a junker box with these two 8800 GTS's I have sitting here too! This 580 is nice. It idles 10c less than this 280 GTX, but the 280 is on top. Really, the 280 GTX is a LOT cooler than the 8800 GTS's were. Amazine how things progress.

Got a Galaxy geforce 580 delivered a couple days ago. My impression of the card can be summed up in one word: wow.

just installed my gtx 580. I tried just cause 2 on it with everything but AA maxed and I get no slowdowns whatsoever. My gtx 480 in single had some trouble with the same settings. And it idles in the 30's c for temp. I love this card!

Man in Hong KOng, the Inno3D 480 can be had for $356! Sign of things to come? Newegg has the cheapest 480 listed at $429
470's are $25X! ... 580's are $500 and higher Tempting....but I will wait for my true 295 replacement part yet... But, hopefully the pricing is not a typo and the Inno3D is $356 which means you guys in the US should be expecting similar pricing soon

I just updgraded from a GTX 260 to a EVGA GTX 460 SC. So far I like it, it seems to run a little quietier than the 260 and the frame rates seem a little better. One good thing is I can now watch a movie on one monitor at full screen and play a game on the other and it seems to run pretty good where the old card struggled at full screen movies.

You guys are killing me. I just got my 5870 less than a year ago, but now I'm itching to upgrade to a GTX 580. The only thing that's holding me back at the moment is money.
