I have a laptop with a high-dpi screen and a second monitor attached with a lower dpi. On the laptop screen everything is alright, but the secondary screen shows most fonts too small.
One strange thing is that not all fonts are rendered too small, for instance the tabs in chromium are displayed at the correct size, while all text in pcmanfm or geany is too small. I should add that terminal fonts (xft) are also okay, so it seems that mainly gtk-apps(?) show problems. I've tried this with twinview and separate X-screens, both give the same result. Another strange thing is that with twinview the fonts in nvidia-settings are the correct size, but with separate X-screens they are too small like with other programs. I don't use a DE (gnome/kde), just a window manager. Dpi of both screens is retrieved correctly through edid: Code:
resolution: 92x93 dots per inch resolution: 126x127 dots per inch |
