Default Re: Upgrade from 5850: which one?

I would upgrade to this:
CLUB3D HD5850 1GB 2x DVI-I HDMI PCIe
Nexus RX-8500 Modular 80PLUS Silent Power Supply 850W

Good choice?

24" monitor, multi GPU is not needed at all. A single GTX 570 or 6970 would work fine, a GTX 580 would work even better. Unless you're needing to push 3D Vision on that 24" monitor because it's a 120hz, you won't need more then one of the above GPUs for games to run like melted butter.

Will a 6970 be quite a bit faster than my 5850?

SIgnificantly so, but then so would a GTX570. The two of them are very competitive for the price asked, either way you go you will not find yourself dissappointed.
