So there's still no way to get a legit score with SLI?

This is supposed to be a benchmark that does a good job of showing the DirectX11 performance of GPUs relative to each other. Your anti-synthetic benchmark argument is a tired one; these programs still have a use, and are fun to use.

SLI GPU reviews should be able to feature 3Dmark 11 results, and as of right now (to my knowledge) they still can't. I'd sure like some fixin' to happen.

P6322 - http://3dmark.com/3dm11/153464

Graphics score: 6388
Physics Score: 6743
Combined Score: 5399
GraphicsTest1: 27.71 FPS
GraphicsTest2: 29.04 FPS
GraphicsTest3: 40.24 FPS
GraphicsTest4: 20.56 FPS
PhysicsTest: 21.41 FPS
CombinedTest: 25.12 FPS

Very mild overclock on CPU and GPU + vmem, mild underclock on system memory. Makes me very happy with my single GPU, upper mid range rig.

A little maybe, but that's still a VERY respectable score, and not all just the GTX 580 carrying the day. The Q6600 is long of tooth, but those long quad-chompers are nasty when sharpened to 3.6Ghz

My wife is running my old Q6600 now. G0 stepping and smoothly hits 3.6Ghz.

Oh, I'm not complaining. What I had in mind when I posted was that your physics test results are 50%+ better than mine. Anyway, I just got a P5602 with a further OC of the 580 to 900/1800/4200. It seems stable so far, but I plan to run done more tests when I get home from work.

Pushed things a little further tonight. Pushed the core to 920mhz, vmem to 1026mhz, and CPU to 3.6Ghz (ram@1440mhz).

Result:
P6682 - http://3dmark.com/3dm11/321167

A nice improvement! I think if I really pushed hard (4Ghz CPU, 1600mhz ram, 950mhz core, 1040mhz vmem) I could maybe tag 7K. Definately not bad for a socket 1156 rig with a single GPU, all air cooled.
