Default Upscaling from a non-supported backend resolution

I have a game which is 1280x800, my screen is 1080p native and below that 720p (as shown in xrandr)

How can I get the nvidia driver to upscale this to my screens native 1080p if 1280x800 isn't one of my supported resolutions? i.e I can't switch to 1280x800 and enable flat-panel scaling.

Thanks
