The Core i7-2600K & Core i5-2500K is AWESOME upgrade for most people, great job Intel. Not sure if I'm going to buy the overpriced Intel Extreme Edition again.
Waiting for the AMD Bulldozer to compare since I need complete platform upgrade anyway. Would rather give my money to AMD, they sure need it more plus I might save a lot. Did read only the AnandTech review and the 2600K & i5-2500K is sure a big winner, to bad it's not upgrade option for me. Here few quotes from AnandTech Final Words Quote:

Waste of time me going for SB imo. I am glad I purchased my 920 nearly a year and a half ago. It It looks like it will last me 2 years before I upgrade. I think its one of the best purchases I ever made.

The Core i7-2600K or Core i5-2500K is faster in every application including gaming by good percentage point than the i7 920, (based on the AnandTech charts). The additional advantage is much better overclock, less power use and cooler chip. Also the SATA 6Gbps and USB 3.0 support is great. I mainly care about the the SATA 6Gbps, the only reason I would upgrade my SSD. Anyway the Core i7-2600K or Core i5-2500K plus mobo should cost less than $500, which I think is great upgrade. It should cost much less after selling the i7 920 and mobo and off course the longer the i7 920 setup is kept the less resale value it will have, if any. EDIT One more time from AnandTech review Quote:

Good luck, saw the price on overclockers.co.uk the price is steep, £190 for the 2500K and an SLI motherboards STARTING at £189 onwards to £300 so for a i5 processor and mother board you can get them for a low low price of $590 for the two, and you DO NOT WANT to see the i7 version cost either!! There is nothing mid range about these prices!!
