So, I took a chance when building my first Athlon II rig for a friend with the M3A770DE and I have to say that I'm impressed. I've built 5 PCs now using this humble motherboard (and the venerable Athlon II x3 and x4 chips) and all of them have worked superbly out of the box. I highly recommend this board to anybody who is looking to build an AM3 rig on a budget!
On that note, I really do appreciate AMD's value chips -- part of me wishes that this could go on indefinitely, but AMD will probably rock hard with BD and then we will see more $999 chips from AMD rather than $99.99...
