How much heat is associated with the GPU on die?
Why is it so much better for us guys? Why no triple channel memory? Is there a way in BIOS do disable the GPU?

For what it's worth I believe the only extreme edition Sandy Bridge that will be released will be a mobile processor. Which doesn't make sense to me (who wants to overclock laptops?).

What makes you believe that. Sounds crazy making Extreme chips for a Laptop.

Thanks! Very excited. I'll see what this stock cooler can do OC wise but I'll probably order up a Scythe Mugen2 this week.

How long do you guys think Intel will support the LGA1155? Don't like the fact that I gotta get a whole new board but I can give my current MOBO and CPU to the Girl and I get the new stuff. Would be a great improvement for her crappy AMD Setup.

Maybe a year.
3 different pin-counts Magus Between now and the beginning of next year, and there will likely be Ivy Bridge related updates that may not be pin-compatible. |

Yep this is what i want to get.
But the BIOS on this is unstable. Its 40 mins, but i actually ended up watching his entire video... Would be nice if they spend a bit of time on the AUDIO part of motherboards....seems everyone is putting the realtec ac97... |

![]() Always wondered why modern comuters had such "basic" BIOS in regards to the user interface. Bout time they "modernized" the BIOS a bit. ![]() |
