as for my gtx 295, i don't think this game uses sli. i just rechecked and i'm getting 35-37fps with 8aa, and even with no aa only getting 55-59fps. this is with all in game settings maxed, except shadows at medium.

you like the game? i've played every single need for speed except for that one...

and just confirmed that sli is still NOT working at all in hot pursuit. 266.35's. went to single card 8aa and fps went from mid 30's to high 40's.

I think this is really the problem. It does have some aspects that feel like NFS, but it mostly feels like Burnout Paradise with weaponized police chases. It's all over the place in terms of style and execution.
