The 608's are what I am looking at personally to replace my older Onkyo setup (have 7.2 channel and all that but only 1.3 right now) if/when I move to a 3D setup.
I love mine (608) and that's a good price.

Any way I can get my TV and my speakers to play nice?
Using the headphone input on the TV will work, it will only be stereo.
