Good info. The leveling system sounds like it was lifted directly from the most popular PC leveling mods. Having the option to have true dual wielding sounds good, too, as a lot of improvised dual wielding items showed up in the major Oblivion mods. Losing Mysticism sucks, but then again, I only used it as a way to recharge my enchanted weapons.
The new quest/reactive world system seems to be very ambitious. Know Bethseda, it will probably be implemented well enough to get the job done, but won't be anything truly spectacular. I just hope it is a truly open, seamless world; I hate having load screens going into cities, buildings and dungeons.

Really looking forward to this.

It's sounding good to me, I actually like the sound of LESS skills. Having too many just made it harder to specialise without massive weaknesses. I also like that they get real actors to play the heavily voiced characters in the game... Liam Neeson in Fallout 3 was awesome.

sounds like they've seriously addressed the shortcomings of their previous work. the dynamic quest system sounds interesting and FINALLY they're rendering full dynamic lighting in the world...took em long enough.
I also wanna see the snow in action how it builds on surfaces and stuff. IF they can get everything talked about in that article to actually come together without glitching out, I think it could be a truly revolutionary game.

My only concern at this point is mod support for this "new" engine.

Goodness me, it actually looks better than how i perceived the first Oblivon screen shots. I know it looks not far above what is standard for consoles now-a-days, but even on consoles there have been big big improvements in graphical fidelity in recent years. It's as good as oblivion should have looked.

Dude, wtf... I WANT THIS! Gunna play through oblivion, the time i did play it and only finished 10% of the main quest, i was so full up in doin sidequests and exploring i never got into the main game, at that time i had a single 8800gtx, and framerates suffered at max settings. Today, imma do max + supersampling + texture mods and other graphical enhancing mods.
