I have a question for the 580 owners. Do you guys have any kind of cap/coil whine with the cards? I have the 570 SC and I have the whine. On my 2nd card and it's the same as the first

for all games or just certain games? my 295 gets a whine in STALKER and CRYSOET but no other games.

Well whenever under load.

This is the first card I have ever owned which has had a whine under load and I am just trying to see if perhaps the 580's have higher quality parts and don't have the whine

I haven't heard any whining in my cards, except when I go to the P&R Forums.....

That's probably because like 99.9% of everyone on these boards with relatively powerful cards, you probably don't Fold and therefore you probably don't hear your cards under load because when they are, you are probably playing video games.

Just returned my 570SC for a 580.

So far so good, will mess around with it more this weekend. Games thus far seem much smoother
