I like many others have been trying the get NVDrivers to work. So far the most I can get is and 800x600 * bit screen, sometimes. I have the 2960 src for the kernel and GLX and they installed, after I had to install the Mandrake 9.0 kernel source.
Whe I start X Windows I get the message that nvidia and GLX modules don't exist. When I take them out I get Symbol__glxActiveScreens From module /usr/X11R6/lib/modules/extensions/libdri.a is unresolved. My XF86Config-4 file hasn't been helpful either. I made most of the suggested changes from NV and Here on the Forums and It still won't work. I have a Dell Inspiron 8100 1.13 Ghz, with a GeForce2 Go. Trying to get Mandrake 9.0 to work is like pulling teeth. Most everyone here has it working and it's great. Any more suggestions??? Please??? |

In the Modules section, I had put the full path to the Module. It came up immediately.
