Default [270.18] X.server 1.10 RC1 and broken glx extension

Testing the new beta driver and it works with 2.6.38-RC2 and X-server 1.10

But the glx extension is broken at least for me.

Anyone else testing this or maybe a solution ?

xorg.0.log attached

Code:

Start X with -noABI.

Well.. I am starting with the noABI option.... the driver works.

This is another ABI mismatch with the glx extension.... so I cannot run Compiz...

Funny thing is(in v1.9.2.902 at least) if you add in xorg.conf under ServerFlags -> Option "IgnoreABI" "True"
it won't accept the setting but if you just add Option "IgnoreABI' without a boolean statement afterwards it will.

In Addition using the beta driver(270.18 - ftp://download.nvidia.com/XFree86/Linux-x86/270.18/) works fine with Xserver v1.9.3.901 for me at least.

Yep....if I downgrade the X-stack to 1.9.2 everything is ok. EDIT X.Org X Server 1.9.0.902 (1.9.1 RC 2) xorg.0.log attached and it works OK

This is how I have IgnoreABI

Code:
Section "ServerFlags"
    Option "IgnoreABI" "True"
EndSection

Looking at xorg.O.log the module first is unloaded but after a while something is starting for glx...

Code:
10.355] (II) Loading extension NV-GLX
Whats that.....?

Probably some missing bits that a nvidia developer must change....the change log just says preliminary support for x-server 1.10.

Sorry, a bug in the build scripts prevented support from getting compiled into this release. I've fixed the build so the next release should work.

Also, as a heads-up, I should mention that another ABI break went into the X server source tree, so xserver 1.10 RC 2 will not be compatible with the limited support in 270.18.
