Yeah.. no. If you compare decent capture grab 'screenshot to screenshot' it definetely doesn't blow it away. Rosy offscreen memories best be forgotten.

Point is it doesnt blow it way, barely even looks better if at all and is far more linear and scripted. Also we are comparing U2 SP vs C2 MP. Also U2 MP takes some downgrades to SP. Seeing the rendering tech they employ in MP on the 360 it certainly looks and techwise pulls enough to be in the toplist. Especially lighting tech and shadows is the best on consoles by far.

This video to me shows easily the technically most advacned and visually most pleasing game on console. Just take a good look and also when player enters the house (at 3:20). The shading, lighting etc is amazing for a console game. And I'll be playingthis game on PC with far higher settings than that...dayyyuuuummm.

I don't recall us arguing the gameplay between sp/mp, this was solely about graphics.
God of War 3 - Hades Fight was absolutely epic
Same goes for the titan fight.

Uncharted 2 rooftop helo fight was epic


EDIT: I find it hilarious that some of you guys think just because its "Crysis" it has the best graphics out there. This is their first console game, and other console only developers have been doing this long before Crytek got into it. How many of you actually own consoles and played some of the bigger titles (killzone/uncharted/alan wake/god of war 3) and can commit to saying this before the game is even out.

With as much hate as consoles get from pc gamers, i'm really shocked to see this much "love" for a consolized game. I really think some of you guys are just jaded on the crysis bandwagon. Just because it took great hardware to run, doesn't mean the game looked that great.

Yeah, those shots look really bad when you take real screenshots, not bullshots like developers sex up. PC in-game can look every bit as good as the sexed up shots.

Consoles are good for their targeted people, who don't care much for image fidelity and upscale cheating.

I haven't brought in gameplay just stated that I was showing U2 SP vs C2 MP shots and most games takes downgrades for MP mode to accomodote the player count. However you are just now bringing in gameplay argument with "Hades Fight was absolutely epic", "titan fight" etc yet ignoring that the 360 demo is multiplayer only. It is not a singleplayer campaign demo so epic gameplay moments cant be compared until SP demo/full game is out.

It's hilarious how some dismiss it becouse it is a multiplatform game. Really taking a look at visuals aswell as their rendering tech is impressive with how the results turned out. The line "it's their first game" is worthless in the context of experience. Crytek has been developing CE3 since 2006 with teams dedicated for each platform to study the HW and maximise results.

Dont bring in the hate/love discussion when you find it threathening that some think C2 on the 360 is a top contender both visually and technically. Or maybe it would be OK if it was a PS3 exclusive? Then it would have been amazing right (based on games mentioned as "best" this and that)?

i won't bring up the other points because i'm eating, but i'm not threatened and the 360 is hardly the top contender (in regards to existing player base = yes). I could really care less, but the fact of the matter lies that the demo exclusivity is a slap in the face to pc gamers.
i have a 360 and ps3, my 360 is modded and console banned. my ps3 I only play bc2 on it now since that's where most of my friends play. my pc is torn down at the moment as i'm moving cross country.

And I mentioned the fight, not because of the gameplay but because of the graphics. My bad choice of wording.

Somethings are just not worth the time people put in it. Crysis is a game. A freaking game. There's no one here that's getting paid to play this game.

I have two kids that won't argue over games...and they are 5 and 7.

No problems chew slowly so that roast dont get stuck. I also feel like we got cheated for not getting a PC demo. With such a title from Crytek they should showcase it at it's finest not as they said "from bottom to top". Though that would mean PS3 version is better to! lol
