Default GTS450: Any performance benefits by injecting the 260 stable drivers?

Hi;

Currently I use the stock ubuntu distributed driver 256.52. Enabling 8x AA on demos like Unigine Tropics or Heaven drops performance heavily. Looking at various benchmark results done in windows the performance should be better for this GPU (ie: 12 fps in tropics demo with 8x AA high settings). Should I upgrade?

Most of the time it's a good idea to have up to date drivers.

Anyway, just disable 8x AA. The GTS 450 clearly isn't meant for that.

Well, sorry for the late response but, thanks, I'll wait till overclocking will be supported for fermi cards then.
