i7 920 @ 4.2
GTX 580 @ 820, 2100

score seems a bit low, but physics score is high...

some people have p9000+ scores on one card. is it because they have a gpu for physics also?

edit: turned off speedstep, took it to P6354

3dmark doesnt support physx any more. So nvidia wont have hugely inflated scores.

However, your score is spot on for a single 580.

Greedo, overclock that 580 some more. Mine will almost do 820 on 1.000 volts. You should be able to hit above 900 with a little added voltage.

Bios flashed mine to 1.088v ... I can hit 920Mhz clock core and its rock stable, My card is bios flashed to the speeds in my sig.

You will get a higher score from overclocking your video cards, than you will from your CPU. For me going from 4.4 to 4.7 made almost zero difference to the score. But upping my core clocks on the 580's did yield much better returns.

i see, i was wondering why your score was so much higher.

i'll probably leave it as is for now, not too concerned with it, and this card does rape almost every game on the market.

we'll see what happens when crysis 2 drops.
