The funny replies I usually see from console kiddies, "24 players is the sweet spot, 64 players in a servers is too much anyway!". Of course they say that, they have no other choice but to accept it and pretend that it is a good thing.

No they're still 64 but Titan games can get laggy due to having giant flying spaceships in the middle of the map loaded with soldiers as well as tanks and mechs on the ground. Btw 2142 is getting a new patch 1.51 next week with new maps and no cd required meaning it should show up on steam sometime in the next few months

The Battlefield 3 Limited Edition includes Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand at no extra charge.

The themed expansion pack features four legendary maps from Battlefield 2 boldly re-imagined with Frostbite 2 physics, destruction, and visuals. Completing the package are classic Battlefield 2 weapons and vehicles, unique rewards, new achievements/trophies, and more. For those who don't pre-order to secure the Limited Edition, Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand expansion content will be available for purchase approximately one month after the game's release.

A buddy of mine was able to pick up BFBC2 LE in store months after the games release. I'm getting in on an LE preorder, but I want to wait and see if they sweeten the deal with a beta invite, or unlocks first.

Does anyone know if you preorder from EA directly do you get codes emailed to you? I just don't want to get screwed because I preordered too early.

BFBC2 ran great on my system. You needed a quad and a good video card.

Good to hear they are still supporting 2142. Still one of my favorite Battlefield games. I always felt like it was extremely well balanced and had some very well-designed maps (not too big, not too small). I will have to reinstall it sometime.
